Davos 2017
Responsive and Responsible Leadership
In 2017, nearly 3,000 leaders from business, government, international organizations, academia, and civil society gathered at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting to address how to meet the leadership challenges wrought by five key global developments: the Fourth Industrial Revolution, brought about by advances in technology; the need to move beyond nation states to a dynamic, inclusive, multi-stakeholder global governance system; slowed economic growth; mistrust of market capitalism; and a loss of confidence in traditional institutions fed by fears for the future and the search for beliefs that can provide common purpose and continuity.
