Michael is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Digital practice, and leads the OW Studio program, an innovative workshop approach for customer-centric ideation, prototyping, and new venture development. He has deep expertise launching new digital ventures, most recently inside large financial services firms. Michael has worked as an employee for multiple startups, including a spin-out from a Fortune Global 1000 Financial Services firm; two Newcos that were funded by Silicon Valley VCs; and another that was incubated as a new business division inside a global enterprise. He has made angel investments and advised many startups. He has also worked as a consultant and advisor to many financial services firms launching new digital ventures.

Paul has worked with large financial-services institutions across the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions. He is also actively connected with the Insurtech and Fintech communities, and has facilitated strong ties between Insurtechs and incumbents. His areas of expertise include designing and building greenfield digital solutions and implementing large-scale digital transformations.
