He is an experienced venture builder, bridging technology and business. He works with and advises incumbent financial institutions on major digital transformations and new entrants on how to build and operationalize their green-field technology platforms across the Asia Pacific.
Toby’s recent client work has focused on the digital banking boom in the Southeast Asian region, where he has been integral to the successful design, build, and launch of seven greenfield and brownfield digital banks in various markets.

In his more traditional digital transformation work, Toby brings his in-depth learnings from configuring financial infrastructure and understanding the cost-value paradigm within modular technology to Asia’s incumbent banks. Toby has advised on several technology and service rationalization initiatives with successful outcomes.
A keen practitioner of technology innovation and a former start-up founder himself, Toby ensures he brings his creativity to work every day, challenging the status quo and constantly asking what is possible.
Toby has a Master's in Strategic Management from the University of Leeds, where his passion for improving business through technology began.
Outside of work, he is a very proud father of two and a keen sportsman. He carefully splits his free time across football, triathlons, and golf.
