Sam is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Singapore office and is an expert on topics around Climate and Sustainability, Stress Testing, and Strategic Finance.

He is the co-lead for Climate and Sustainability in Southeast Asia and has advised clients on Net-Zero portfolio emissions target setting and plans, and related financial and commercial decisions, as well as climate risk management and quantification. Sam holds the GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk certificate.
In addition to his work in Climate and Sustainability, Sam has a background supporting clients on a range of Finance topics, including stress testing, financial and capital planning, as well as operational and governance model set-ups for Finance and Risk functions.
Outside of his core focus, Sam has worked across a broad range of Risk topics, including credit risk, model risk management, broad risk management frameworks, and non-financial risk topics.
Sam has advised financial institutions, governments, and public bodies across Europe and Asia for over 10 years. In 2017, Sam spent half a year seconded to the Local Currency and Capital Markets Development team at the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development.
Away from work, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and their young son, and a wide array of sports.
