Michelle is a Vice President in Oliver Wyman’s Automotive and Manufacturing Industries Practice based in Detroit. Since 1999, she has been responsible for managing The Harbour Report®, the global authoritative guide to automotive manufacturing and a leading competitive analysis tool used by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers to benchmark performance, develop strategies, and improve operations.

Michelle leads on all aspects of the annual cooperative benchmarking study encompassing over 400 sites across 25 countries from over a dozen Fortune 500 companies. Her relationships with the manufacturers have also expanded The Harbour Report® to include operations in South America, Russia, South Africa, Korea, India, and China. She leads the strategic growth plans of the report including new industries, existing client footprint, and updated modeling and value proposition. 

With over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry, and 19 years of consulting experience, Michelle has assessed over 250 automotive, commercial vehicle, and supplier manufacturing operations globally.  She has led and worked on consulting engagements related to manufacturing organizational structures, material and logistics strategies, launch excellence, sourcing strategies and manufacturing plant assessments, and operational due diligence.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada.
