Kathryn is the Head of Marketing for the Americas, where she is responsible for setting the marketing strategy and unlocking the team through collaboration, transparency, and trust. She is responsible for ensuring Oliver Wyman is well known for its breakthrough ideas, culture, and distinct approach that shape industries and societies.
Previously, Kathryn was the Director of Marketing for the Health and Life Sciences practice, where she led COVID response marketing efforts, drove growth in digital content engagement, spearheaded the cross-industry Women in Leadership initiative, and managed the promotion of the annual Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Summit.
Stepping up to lead our COVID response marketing efforts was one of the proudest moments in my career: I was directly enabling more information to quickly reach our clients at a moment that mattered. It also was a very tangible way for my children to actually understand what I do for a living!
Kathryn began her career in financial services managing the marketing of various investment products and programs. She later became a management consultant for financial institutions and health insurers before focusing on marketing within the consulting industry. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in English and Economics and from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management with an MBA in Marketing and Management.
As a former consultant, I believe in the product we offer: the expertise in this firm is unparalleled. More importantly, I believe in the people. Having experienced the personal support, incredible depth, and humility of my colleagues, I can authentically promote what an amazing place Oliver Wyman is.
When not sharing and shaping amazing ideas from the Oliver Wyman team, Kathryn can be found walking her husky rescue, playing golf poorly, or attending her children’s various sports and artistic activities.
