His work ranges from the design of digital asset payment regulations for a prominent Middle Eastern Central Bank, to the development of a global tokenization strategy for a well-known consortium of precious metals.

As a thought leader in the field, Karanvir has co-authored several works including “The Blockchain Evolution — All Roads Lead to Rome,” “Shaping Tomorrow’s Digital Asset Landscape,” and “Multiplicity And Convergence In The Digital Assets Ecosystem.” Beyond digital assets, Karanvir focuses on projects within asset management and broader finance, with experience ranging from transformation initiatives to capital and risk assessments.
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Karanvir was a digital assets analyst at an alternative asset management firm. His primary responsibilities included portfolio and fund origination, encompassing a range of strategies from L1/L2 funds to DeFi staking. He also authored coverage reports on emerging protocols and blockchains.
Karanvir attended the University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce program where he studied finance and economics. Outside of work, he is an NFT enthusiast, enjoys playing basketball, and looks forward to traveling to new regions, exploring diverse cuisines and cultures.
