Johnny heads the IMEA Energy and Natural Resources Practice and is the regional lead on Climate and Sustainability.
He has more than 17 years of management consulting experience and industry expertise in utilities, environment, food security and agriculture, and infrastructure. Johnny is an expert in transformation and restructuring programs at the national and corporate levels and believes in collaborating closely with his clients to address issues that are now tougher and more urgent than ever before.
His recent projects have been centered around supporting regional policymakers and semi-government entities to set and deliver strategies that aim to promote socio-economic development and national resilience. At the same time, his projects help to preserve and improve the health of local ecosystems and chart a new course to help mitigate the effects of climate change.
Environmental concerns must become a key part of the strategy in every industry, across public and private sectors – this can be accelerated through better awareness of both environmental risks and opportunities at the Board of Directors level, as well as through regulatory action
Fluent in English, Arabic and French, with a background in business and industrial engineering, Johnny has dedicated his career to making an impact in an area he’s passionate about — the sustainability of natural resources and the environment. With a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Operations Research from the London School of Economics, Johnny brings a unique perspective that effectively balances business outcomes with regulatory requirements and green economy targets.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, skiing, and managing his apple farm in Lebanon. The latter means he has first-hand appreciation for several challenges faced by farmers, such as marketing and weather changes.
