Throughout her 20-year career with Royal Dutch Shell, Gyongyver held several senior level commercial and marketing roles. She gained deep expertise in strategy development, marketing operations, business transformation, organizational capability building, and new market entry across diverse geographies and business environments.

As Head of Convenience Retail for the US from 2017 to 2019, Gyongyver led the foundation of market re-entry for Shell in the US by developing the strategic plan, a bespoke US C-Store value proposition, operating models ready to deploy, and leading the initial acquisition efforts.
Gyongyver moved into strategy consulting in 2019 and is a Senior Advisor in the Downstream Practice of Oliver Wyman. She now specializes in improving business performance in affordable and relevant ways via transforming the consumer experience in an omnichannel environment and enhancing operational processes and organizational capabilities.
Born in Budapest, Gyongyver obtained her master’s degree in economics and marketing from the Budapest Business School, University of Applied Sciences. She has worked and lived internationally since 2004 in the UAE, China, and Thailand, and has been based in Houston, Texas since 2017.
