Bob is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources practice and is based in Houston. Bob specializes in advising the oil and gas sector on value growth strategy development, organization and process transformation, and change management with extensive experience consulting clients across oil and gas upstream and downstream segments, energy/petroleum services, fuels/convenience retail, and private equity.
The breadth of topics on which he has consulted includes:
- Corporate and business strategy and business model development
- Organization design, transformation, and implementation
- Post-acquisition strategy development, diligence, and organizational integration of assets and networks
- Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Bob served as an international economist for the U.S. Department of Commerce, analyzing international industrial markets, formulating strategies to eliminate trade barriers, and conducting negotiations with government officials from Japan, the EU, and the ASEAN countries at the GATT in Geneva.
Bob holds an MBA in strategic management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; a Master of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University; and a BA in political science and economics from the University of Denver.
