Ana is the chief knowledge officer of Oliver Wyman Group.
As the first person to hold this role, Ana focuses on enhancing capabilities in research, knowledge management, collaboration, and innovation, as well as related organizational, technology, and cultural changes. Ana also plays a bridge role to thought leaders and ideas outside of Oliver Wyman and explores ways to commercialize them, with a team that spans 15 locations worldwide.
Beyond her current experience, Ana spent over a decade advising clients in North America and Europe in the areas of strategy, offer development, and new business start-ups in technology and communications. She also spent two years helping integrate Oliver Wyman’s businesses.
Prior to Oliver Wyman, Ana worked in economic and regulatory consulting in telecommunications and information technology.
Ana has built a reputation for developing compelling strategies and building effective teams that can manage through change to achieve results. She is passionate about women’s initiatives, mentoring, refugee and immigrant causes, and education. She is the executive sponsor of the Women of Oliver Wyman (WOW) Employee Resource Group and sits on Oliver Wyman’s global Inclusion And Diversity Council.
She is also on the board of directors for Upwardly Global, a non-profit focused on eliminating employment barriers and integrating skilled immigrants and refugees in the professional US. workforce, and the Stamford Symphony Orchestra.
Having lived across the globe, she is fluent in five languages. Ana holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland and an MBA from the Wharton School.
