Amal is an Associate in Private Capital at Oliver Wyman, based in London. She advises private equity funds on pre-deal engagements across financial services, insurance, infrastructure, and business services.
Amal spent three years with Oliver Wyman in the Middle East supporting public sector transformation programs in fiscal policy and workforce development. Earlier in her career, Amal was an investment analyst at a Middle Eastern sovereign wealth fund and was part of the CEO Office of telco operator where she focused on commercial transformation.
Amal served on the first cohort of Oliver Wyman’s Global Leadership Team Council, which is a group of non-executive colleagues from across the firm that works alongside leadership in shaping key agenda topics to drive business performance and promote an empowering culture.

Outside her corporate career, Amal worked with Nama Women Advancement Establishment in the UAE supporting Emirati women entrepreneurs, and delivered workshops on business ideation to 200+ women. She has a passion for performing arts and has served on the organizing committee of a contemporary dance festival in the Levant for 10 years. As a young adult, Amal was a dancer and choreographer and was awarded several artistic residencies including ImpulsTanz’s DanceWeb. Her first work on gender was creating a dance installation around gender roles which she performed at the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival 2012. Amal’s inspiration is her mother, who dedicated her life to support women in Palestine and is working relentlessly to champion women in legislation and society.
