Joana is a consultant in our Amsterdam office. She joined the firm in 2023 after first getting to know the team during a summer internship.
As a consultant, she works on diverse projects across multiple industries, each with unique challenges. From assisting with production planning for a Spanish train manufacturer to developing a sustainable growth strategy for a South African bank, she enjoys tackling complex problems.

The opportunity to collaborate with diverse cultures in an international setting and to engage with challenging topics fuels her curiosity and motivates her every day. On the social side, Joana is an active member of the local office events and wellbeing committees, where she helps organize social activities and promotes a fun, healthy work environment.
Joana holds a master’s in international management from the Rotterdam School of Management and the London School of Economics, as well as a bachelor’s degree in economics. Before joining Oliver Wyman, she gained valuable experience working for an early-stage venture capital firm and various startups, including her own.
On a personal note, she enjoys learning new languages. In addition to being fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she is currently working towards achieving proficiency in Dutch. In her spare time, she is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys spending time on the tennis court or cycling around Amsterdam.
