Adel brings over two decades of experience leading and helping clients with transformational projects to Oliver Wyman’s Public Sector Practice. Prior to joining the firm, Adel served as Senior Advisor at another large consultancy, Executive Director in the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, and an advisor to the Public Diplomacy Office, Mohammad bin Rashid Global Initiatives, and Mohammad bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation. He also founded the Dubai Competitiveness Council and served as Executive Director.
Working in senior government positions lent Adel unique insight into the universe of policy making and the complexity of decision making. “This has equipped me with the perspective and discernment for crafting the right advice to our clients, solving their problems, and working alongside them to deliver lasting impact,” he says, noting that he often serves as the bridge that helps translate market and business needs to actions.
My main ambition is to continue making a difference – ranging from supporting transformations at the national level all the way to helping individuals become a better version of themselves.
Outside of Oliver Wyman, Adel practices Brazilian jiu-jitsu and has competed in several tournaments throughout the years. He’s also an avid traveler, having already visited over 50 countries, and hopes to add more to the list. “Hand in hand with traveling, I also enjoy photography – as one tends to complement the other quite well, allowing to capture moments and memories.”
Adel is an alumnus of both Oxford and Colombia Business Schools, as well as the UAE Government Leadership Program, and holds a degree in industrial electronics from the Higher Colleges of Technology in UAE.
